Self-Reflection for First Nations Diorama project:
1. Did you enjoy the diorama project? Why or why not? Be specific. I enjoyed the project because I like dioramas and I love really any kind of project. It’s much better than just taking notes. And I think I learn better by doing project than by just talking notes.
2. What were some of the challenges of doing this project? Again, name things like, “materials” or “getting it back and forth” or… Some challenges were taking it from school and back, making the paper Mache igloo, knowing when the project was due; finding sled dogs small enough was hard.
3. Did you appreciate that it was a single project rather than a “group” project? Explain.
YES, because when it’s a single project you can do how you want, when you want and how you like it. And you don’t have to worry if your partner is going to do a good job.
4. In doing this project, did you learn more about your first nations group than was just in the text? Which resources did you use to help you get more information? Yes I did because the text did not have lots of pictures too show what the igloo/ Artic looks like. I used Google images, a website all about Narwhals, my brain and a website of BC.
